I am thrilled to share my passion for watercolor art with you. As you explore my art, I hope you’ll find images that resonate with your own experiences. I prefer to paint with a loose impressionistic style and I invite viewers to fill in the untold stories. Please scroll through my paintings. Many of the images were inspired from Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
This watercolor painting celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Noquemanon cross-country ski race, and captures the energy and action of skate skiers traversing a groomed trail through a Northern Michigan forest. The artwork captures the essence of the race’s action and the beauty of the winter landscape, earning it the distinction of being featured on the cover of the January 2023 issue of the Marquette Monthly newspaper.
This watercolor painting was chosen for the Marquette Monthly cover March 2024. This watercolor depicts a common Upper Peninsula of Michigan scene. As a winter night unfolds, a lone figure makes his way back to a cozy cabin nestled along the shores of a frozen lake.
